About Us
Benefits of our Climbing Wall Sessions
We encourage every student to partake in the sessions, whether that's attempting to climb the wall or assist with the belaying of their peers. The students will receive climbing pointers and tips to assist them not only on our wall but for if they attend any residential trips. Depending on age and ability the students will also get the chance belay their peers up the wall, providing them with another skill they could use in various different activities.
Our team
Our team are highly trained and qualified, including ERCA trained instructors and ML qualified instructors. Our instructors will teach the students how to use harnesses correctly and how to belay their peers (if this is apart of the session). If the instructor is observing students belaying each other they will coach both belayer and climber. If the instructor is belaying they will coach the climbers to help them reach their target.
Our sessions
We can cater for full classes on the climbing wall and will need a minimum time scale of 90 minutes for the students to gain the benefits of the session. We normally cater for either half day sessions or full day sessions, where we would run sessions with a number of different classes.
